The food was very fresh! All the signature dishes sounded good, made it hard to decide, but the 2 we picked were good. I had the sweet potato burger, lots of flavor but could've used more toppings on the burger cuz so good & side Brussel sprouts were the bomb. Cute shop, good coffee & lounge atmosphere & nice to... If you want something tasty, your search is over! The eclectic menu has something for everyone! I like to try something different every time I go. Friendly atmosphere and guest musicians are often invited to play.

Comfortable, store front, informal. Tables, couches, WiFi. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the salad and the mac and cheese. We found it a warm, inviting place for lunch that was easy on our budget. Good value. We recommend it.

Caesar salad with chicken first came without chicken and was just a pile of dark green shredded lettuce leaves on a plate with the smallest amount of dried Parmesan powder. When the chicken finally arrived, it was so dry on the outside, it was crunchy. Chicken gyro had the same quality of chicken in it, if not worse. My side... More

Hi DagersD, Thank you for your review - this feedback is very important for improvement. Our roasted chicken should never be roasted so much so that it was dry to bite, and though we chop fresh romaine at the time of the creation of the salad it definitely shouldn't just look like a pile of lettuce leaves. Your experience is... More

We were in for breakfast. Large homemade cinnamon buns were great, but the pumpkin muffins also looked tempting and very large. The baked goods all looked home made. We also had a breakfast wrap that was ok. The warm wilted greens did not contribute to the egg and roasted pepper. However, I wish I had been here for lunch. Duck... More

Hi Caperelli, Thank you for your review and stopping in for breakfast - and the detailed feedback on the wrap. We are actually working behind the scenes to build a new breakfast menu that we'll be unveiling in mid October to rival our lunch menu. So whether you make it back in time for lunch or breakfast you'll be able... More

I hate giving bad reviews. But when you work in the service industry you should at least acknowledge people and smile at them. When I placed my order the gentlemen kept looking down and when I asked for almond milk he responded with "We don't have any". That was it. Didn't look at me or offer a solution. So I... More

Hi Jenny, I'm sorry to hear about that experience - that is not how your visit should've gone. I will say that the individual you are speaking of no longer works at the Cafe as there was a similar review a week ago about this individual and we took swift and decisive action. Rest assured that there will never be... More

I only provide bad reviews when they are truly deserved. My girlfriend and I received completely unfriendly service from a stone faces gentleman here while traveling in the White Mountains. Not a smile....not a hello......we very much felt like a bother. We did however witness this same gentleman provide excellent and friendly service to an older couple behind us that... More

Hi Jtdorio, First of all, let me thank you for your honest review. It is only through honesty that we are able to improve upon our mistakes and/or faults. While I would like to say that individual was having a bad day it is impossible to do so if you clearly witnessed a change in their demeanor depending on who... More

After a long hike with two, very sweet and tired puppies, we drove into North Woodstock for some dinner and stumbled upon this beautiful cafe. The outdoor patio is spacious and dog friendly- wonderful atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and an INCREDIBLE menu. Prices are unbelievably low given the quality and sophistication of the food. Chef Dan is phenomenal. Delicious... More

As a local in Lincoln, I try to visit Cascade as much as possible. There is not a better cup of coffee for miles and the food is spectacular. The rabbit stew is to die for, and the Cubano sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. I always choose the Brussel sprouts as a side because they are... More
