This is a beautiful restaurant in a great little town. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. Thanks to our server, Sherry, we had a great time. Any dish you wish to order is sure to be terrific for lunch or dinner. They also have free parking.

The waitress was an uninterested teenager with a pony tail behind each ear. We ordered the grilled octopus, which was good. The mushroom pasta appetizer with duck confit was excellent except for cubes of cucumber(?) that were marinated in such strong vinegar that I got tears in my eyes. I use this type of supermarket vinegar to kill weeds. The... More

We stopped by Bernardsville for a day on the way up to PA. The Inn is located in a small quiet town. There are a few small shops in the area and not much going on....it's more of a relaxation type of place. We went to the Scherman Hoffman wild life sanctuary which was a ok place to hike and... My wife and I have been meaning to try the Bernards Inn ever since we moved into the area six years ago. We finally had dinner there for our anniversary this week, and had a really excellent experience. The servers were all friendly and knowledgeable, the food was excellent, and the overall ambiance was pleasant. There are a lot of... More

The appetizers entrees were all excellent! However, the portions were moderate so if you have a large appetite this may not be the best choice! Be careful that you order the correct wine or you may be headed for chapter 11!!

We love coming here for drinks after dinner at a neighboring restaurant. Very old school bar but nice to have in such a small town. Live piano music on weekends and great cocktails.

Tried to like this restaurant. Twice, my fish were literally red, raw! So after a few months, we tried this place again. My comment is still AVERAGE! Ordered a bottle of prosecco, not very good! Ordered the lamb T bone ( I think that was the name) I asked the waiter what it was, I never heard of Lamb TBone,... More
