Nice atmosphere and good service. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced. Clams and lobster melt were exceptional. Clam chowder was some of the best I've had.

We decided to go for a late lunch early dinner because the Lobster House always has a long wait for dinner, it's that good!! Started off with warm bread, almost hot, with soft butter, so it melted on the bread right away. Delicious!! We both got the fried scallops. Amazing! Every seafood dish is so fresh because the boats leave... More

This old lobster house has a traditional seafood fare with some nice views of the seaport. The food was ok . The dishes were all cooked well and the menu has a lot of choices. The restaurant is very dark and could use some updating . This place charges for drink refills , this is very unusual but our experience... More

We were here for a USCG graduation celebration, as were many others. It was a later lunch, so we didn't have much trouble getting a table. We were seated next to a window overlooking the water. Our server was great. She kept replenishing the water that we kept devouring. I got a crab cake sandwich. It was okay, not out... More

Lobster House is a lovely restaurant with an old fashioned vibe. It is wood paneled with windows facing the water in the dining room. The bar area is polished wood and old-fashioned but spacious and very clean and airy. The food was excellent based on the several times I dined there in one week. The seafood meals I enjoyed were... Old School place with good atmosphere. On top of that you get 5-star service. Oysters Rockefeller we've tried were delicious. I'm not a real fan of live lobsters but i'd say they were fresh and properly cooked. French Onion soup however was over salted big time... But to say the truth i'll be back next time i visit Cape May!

You can't miss The Lobster House- it's the quintessential Cape May dining experience. It has great history and ambiance, and even better food. We dine here every time we visit the area, and likely always will.

It has been way too long since I checked this place out! Over 30 years, ok? So what a great and enjoyable lunch we all had today! We live along the coast and we know fresh seafood and this place will give you only fresh! They also know how to cook seafood - which is often done other places. Tender... More

I visited the Lobster House with two other adults and two children under 7 years old. We had the Oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer. It was very good. The biggest problem with them was I had to share with two other adults. The children's meal was fried shrimp and fries. Each plate was huge for a child but they managed... More
