We enjoyed a breakfast, lunch and dinner here and would definitely return. There is a full bar with a happy hour from 3:00-6:00 with a menu of half price drinks. They also have live music each evening. The portions are large so go hungry!

I loved the vegetable ravioli for dinner while my husband had halibut. We both loved our meals. I get tired of having limited choice as a vegetarian...either salad or pasta or pizza. So having unique choices of something different are a major plus, in my judgement. The service as wonderful and the atmosphere excellent. Wish we had time to stay... More

This the "happening" place in Cape May, right near the beach. Open mic on Sunday nights with some very good (and sometimes not so good) local talent. All welcome. Half price drinks at Happy Hour daily. The food is really good. when we stayed at the hotel, our deal included a voucher for two breakfasts, but the lunch menu was... More

We've been there for dinner, breakfast, after dinner drinks and dessert - all are great and we were not at all surprised that lunch was too. Great crab soup, fantastic salads and sandwiches as well. No matter what meal, you can have confidence that you will have a great meal at the Mad Batter!

The name is great and the food is okay and so is the service. They have only variation of pancakes, not including the famous chocolate chip, that most people would love. I think our waitress wasn't the friendliest she could have been.

After several recommendations, we had a girls weekend brunch here. The pancakes were some of the best I've had. Other breakfast dishes we ordered were tasty, and fresh squeezed OJ was a nice treat! Service was pleasant and quick, and we were seated in a sunny room by a window.

Had breakfast there on Sunday, May 7, 2017. As it had been years ago when we went, very enjoyable. The only bad part is waiting to be seated. I think the owners should consider expanding or opening up another location. The food is excellent, as is the service, but the space is tight.
