We've gone to Freda's since the 1990s, and it's always been charming and intimate with great food and service. We came back to Cape May for the first time in several years and were glad to see it hasn't changed.

We started with the cream of mushroom soup and it was delicious. The crab cake sandwich and brie melt were also very good. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very attentive.

Ordered the baked brie. Excellent. Also had the lamb -- another winner. My husband had a seafood and pasta dish which was also wonderful. The desserts were wonderful too.

Freda's did not disappoint again this year. My husband and I got the catch of the day! Oh my! It was a gourmet experience! The staff was wonderful and our waitress, Amanda, was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommendations! Highly recommend!
