Stopped by for some take out per the recommendation of my niece. Just loved the stewed goat, fresh Roti and potatoes. I bought some fresh mango with spices too! It's definitely a delicious restaurant. Not very many tables to eat in, but just perfect for me for yummy take out. Roti is on the spot! Awesome!

My hometown of Toronto is full of West Indian restaurants and I've had my good share of Roti around the area but never happy. I came here for lunch with a colleague from work and we ordered the chicken roti wrapped and mine with hot sauce which is a habanero pepper sauce. The owner who is from Trinidad and Tobago... More

As a youth, I spent some time in the Caribbean. I used to love a good Roti. I haven't really seen any here in the states, so I did a lookup for one in NJ. I saw a few places refer to Hot on D Spot, and when I was in the area one day, my family gave it a... More

I found this restaurant doing a google search for Trinidad style cooking. All Caribbean food is not the same, the cuisines are prepared differently from island to island. If you're looking for authentic Trinidad and Tobago doubles, phoulorie, and roti, this is the place to go. I took some work colleagues to this restaurant and they were licking their fingers.... This place is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for some authentic trini cooking, this is it. I ordered some bus-up-shot, curry potatoes, doubles and pholourie for a party thrown for people traveling to NJ from Trinidad. There wasn't a single complaint in the house about the food. The curry is to die for and the roti is always the... More

Ever 2 weeks I visit the place and spend 60+ in food- from Roti, to bush up shot, to mango, to roti skin, doubles, etc. The owners and their families are awesome. They always give me something free. Very friendly atmosphere and the food is too die for. I am on my way now to get some roti for my... More

We have been here several times. It is a simple take-out place. Portions are huge. One roti is enough for 2 or 3 people. I recommend getting one roti and a side stew. Flavors are genuine Caribbean food.

My mom convince me that I didn't need to go over to Brown Sugar bakery and restaurant in Philadelphia and that her place would change my mind and she was sure right. fresh, hot and amazing. I ordered 25 Roti and mango sauce for my daughter christening and of course curried the chicken and goat for myself for a Caribbean American... More

My wife is Trini-American, so I have had good homecooked Trini food and have an idea of what it should be like. I've eaten roti and doubles so far from here, and plan on returning for some stewed dishes and sides in the future. This place is great. The owner is a really nice guy; I love how he says... More

It was like eating grandma home cook food,it was delicious, the roti was big a good portion size for the money. Cheaper than going to NY.as you walked in you feel the trinidad vibes with the music and the talking.
