Girls night out with yum gums. The menu for happy hour was great. We tried a few things. I liked the Bison Tacos the best.

After a day of warm-winter-weather bicycling on Long Beach Island, we stumbled upon one of the few restaurants open year-round. It's warm and inviting inside and the menu is tempting. We ordered a salad, bacon-wrapped scallops, and Reuben sandwiches along with Mimosas. The appetizers did not arrive until 25 minutes later and the sandwiches not until 45 minutes after ordering.... Just happened to drive by on the way back from Barnegat Lighthouse and pulled in for lunch. What a great find! Their Rum Roasted Local Sweet Potato & Coconut Bisque was delicious! Great combination of flavors. As well as the lobster Bisque. Both were full of flavor. The crab cake was tasty, not too much breading. The bun they served... More
We wanted an early dinner so we made reservations a few weeks early for a 5 30 seating by the fire place and our table was ready when we arrived. They had a special menu for the evening and for appetizers we split a bowl of rum -coconut -sweet potato soup and a hot Farro salad. Both were very good... More
Well cared for and more upscale venue for the island. Food preparation and presentation is worth noting - and they make a nice Mojito.
Down on LBI for Thanksgiving and we wanted some seafood the night before. Could not believe how many other people were there too. Had scallops that were outstanding and my wife had large crab cakes that were very good as well. Clam chowder was ok. Could have been warmer. Overall good meal and very good service.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner 10/22/16. The crab cakes were the best I've had this summer. We also had the muscles as an appetizer and they were terrific. Seared yellow fin was excellent. Staff couldn't be nicer and more attentive. Place was hopping busy.
Went for dinner decided to sit at bar as have done many times before. Female bartender did not even say hello or welcome us but we placed our drink orders and then our appetizer order. We usually then order more drinks and our dinners. Drinks were served then appetizers and that was it. We sat with our glasses empty while... More
Atmosphere: Great. Waitress: Good. Food? Not so much. We ordered the tuna dinner and had to send it back because it was inedibly chewy. We get the second piece of tuna and it was worse than the first piece. Why send it out to us if that's the case? So, the waitress offers us scallops in lieu of tuna so... More
They accommodated us on short notice when another restaurant quoted a ridiculous wait. A must try for those that enjoy dirty martinis is the Dirty Blue Hog... bacon stuffed blue cheese olives and a very well crafted martini. Most entrees were a big hit, with the favorites being the local Scallops and the crab encrusted cod special. The scampi was... More
