Francesco's is a local gem. Not only do they have great pizza, but their cooked dishes are excellent too. Nice indoor/outdoor space to enjoy your dinner!

This is the first time I ordered Pizza from this place. We live in the area since 1984. I tried many Pizza places near me but this one by far is at the bottom of do not buy list. I ordered a large pie half sausage. The pizza was drenched in oil and very soggy. The sausage seemed fake with... More

This little gem has been one of our favorites for over 20 years...I liken it to having dinner with an old friends in their dining room/kitchen. Girogio (owner) is well known in the community and makes everyone feel special. I cannot praise this establishment enough!!

Last year we stumbled upon this little place after a long bike ride, ate 2 delicious Italian entrees in the outdoor seating area. We've been back 3 times. Incredible home cooking! Giorgio and the staff are great. Try the tira misu for dessert.

Georgio not only makes fresh sauces for his pasta dishes, he grows the ingredients in the adjoining lot!! Sit in the side area, a tented, open air terrace, and gaze at the rows of tomatoes, basil, and giant sunflowers!! The pizza is delish, but the pasta and the seafood dishes are truly amazing. He is a genius at the true,... More

This is great food for an evening after the beach. It isn't far from Sandy Hook (less than a mile) and the food is delicious and very reasonable. My salad was under $5 and we got a specialty large pizza for less than $20. It was big enough that we took home leftovers!. Particularly great for families with kids.

We've gone here a few times in the last weeks. I have to say, the food might be the best it's ever been here. Georgio is producing some really good meals. A special appetizer of baked eggplant lasagna was excellent. Their clams oreganato are freshly breaded with excellent sauce. Giorgio's grandma pie is not to be missed! Mains of eggplant... More

This is the neighborhood place. BYOB, picnic tables in the covered side porch with outdoor heaters. Soccer on the TV, the owner behind the counter. Soda cans in the fridge - grab what you like. This is low key and economical, unpretentious, and so close to the beach. I end up there out of default, simply because it's so familiar... More
