The outside of the building is an ugly deterrent, however I had the best Cheese Steak and friendly service. A small dining room (no frills) , but comfortable. I will be back in the winter to enjoy the large fireplace.

Before going over the bridge into New Hope, PA, we stopped for lunch at Nicola’s Pizza shop in Lambertville, NJ and we are so happy we did. They have free parking and a small dining room inside with a huge stone fireplace. The thin crust pizza was cooked to perfection! The taste was crunchy on the outside and soft and... More

I like the thin crust pizza here. It is really good. I have also had some pasta dishes which were very tasty too. However, I only gave it an average score because the place itself is a little lacking. It is an old antique stone building with an addition. The take out part is in the addition right where you... I happened to be in the area and decided to check Nicola's out. Although I went in for a couple of slices, I changed my mind when I saw "veal parm hero" on the take-out menu. [As a former NYer, I related to hero instead of "sub."] The restaurant wasn't busy, but I waited over 20 minutes for my order,... More

going to Nicola's is an adventure....it depends who is making the pizzas....when the owner is there, it is pretty good, but with the younger guys,,,they seem disinterested at times..but most of the time they are just OK...dining area is small....but has a great fireplace in winter....dinners are just so so...not a real Italian resteraunt, just a glorified pizzeria..

Went to get dinner while working. Absolute worst eggplant I've ever had, after waiting 45minutes to get take-out dinner. Mistakingly made sandwiches, after I paid almost $27.00 for two identical dinners. After inquiring why we were waiting so long,we were informed wrong meal was made & they promptly threw frozen breaded eggplant into fryer. After quick fry, dinners were quickly... More

This is a good example of traditional pizza, no frills and certainly not gourmet pizza but consistently good.
