To be candid, Hamilton's Grill can be truly excellent! OR, on alternate evenings, totally average (perhaps even worse). The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and - usually - efficient. On a recent Saturday evening, however, our group of 8 arrived on time for our 9...More

This review is based on a dinner we had right after the ownership changed hands. Consequently, I am assuming that they were still getting acclimated to the new environment. We all had starters and main courses. Nothing stood out as truly excellent. Instead we thought...More

We had a wonderful meal at Hamilton Grill last night. We haven’t been there in a few months. The big change is that Mark, the grill master, left to pursue a restaurant ownership opportunity in New Hope. Good luck Mark. You will be missed. The...More

We enjoyed the food as always but the service was truly disappointing. The evening started well - the hostess was very pleasant and we were seated at a nice table in the garden room - with beautiful views of the canal. Unfortunately, it went downhill...More

First time at the restaurant. Food and service was very good. Tables a bit close together but everyone was very cognizant of their surroundings (no loud talkers). Menu offered a wide selection. We started with one of the salad specials and tuna tartar. We then...More

I really regret that I have to write this review, but I want to let potential customers know that, in my experience (I have been coming to this restaurant for at least 20 years), there has been a dramatic drop-off in quality over the past...More

We often meet our best friends midway between our homes for cocktails & dinner and decided to return to Hamilton Grill after a couple of years. We love drinks at the Boathouse and short walk across the courtyard for dinner at Hamilton. The ladies started...More

I don't think they have a private dining area, you might want to call to verify. There is an indoor area, and an outdoor area if the weather is nice. Yes it's BYOB.
