Some of the worst service and customer service I have ever experienced. The good was good but I will not return after being treated the way I was. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Got the chicken murphy and the chicken was rubber. What a disappointment. Have had pizza there and it was good but this was not.

Visited here with friends who live in Middletown. They recommended Toscanella primarily because it was close. The owner(?) greeted us gracefully and indicated we could any table - it wasn't very busy. Toscanella is a "red sauce" Italian place that provides basic southern Italian fare in a storefront facility. There's nothing fancy about Toscanella but the food is quite satisfactory.... More

Great little restaurant out of the way with very good food.We had Eggplant Parmigiana and Veal Parmigiana-lots of food with pasta. You are able to bring your own wine. There is no liquor license.

Food is good and priced reasonably but the wait is painful. When our order was placed the waiter joked "ok it will be ready in an hour", he wasn't kidding. I don't know how this place will survive... No one wants to wait over an hour and a half for typical pizzeria food.

My husband and I have driven by this restaurant many times and decided to stop in for lunch/dinner. We started with the empanadas which were not hot. The filling (prosciutto/mozzarella) was not melted and not very tasty. The server, who doubled as part of the food preparation team, did not seem to care. For our entrees we shared stuffed shells... Very large servings so prices are extremely reasonable. Our party enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana, veal parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and veal Marsala which were all very tasty. We also had empanadas with Italian fillings which were just ok. We were offered a ceaser salad on the house before our meal because they felt we were waiting too long...which I didn't feel... More

Never had a bad meal. The food and service are impeccable. We come here quite often for lunch and dinner. I Catered my daughters birthday and it was a huge hit.
