The Sage Diner has been in this location seemingly forever. It is a convenient location to both 295 and the Jersey Turnpike, making it a great place to meet when traveling thru! The food is very average, but never bad. It is a great place to get a decent breakfast, club sandwich, bowl of soup, or burger. The prices are... More

I met some friends for breakfast before leaving town. The food was good but not very warm. We were a party of seven. The waitress never offered drink refills or asked about our meals. The restaurant was practicall empty on a weekday so I expected better service.

We have been here before. They have great soups. We both got soup and half sandwich. Both of us got chicken salad. The place is clean and quiet and has ample parking. The booths are in fair condition and not torn. This place has lots of windows so is nice on a sunny day like today. Service was good but... More

The wait staff are so friendly it seemed like we were local regulars even though we were just passing through. The food is good wholesome fare and reasonably priced. The menu is extensive and you can select from burgers and sandwiches to steak dinners and stir-fry as well as breakfast all day. Don’t pass up the homemade dessert offerings.

Visiting from El Paso, Texas. Previous visit 6 months ago was great. This time....no so good. The young waitress was very good and attentive. Unfortunately the meal took forever. When it finally arrived it was cold. Not cool, not warm, but cold. We sent it back for heating. When it came back it was cool, not hot. We gave up,... More

Growing up, my mother taught me that one sign of a good restaurant is a clean bathroom. Not only does this place have a dirty one; the restaurant is no different. From the old, dirty-stained tiled flooring to the older; dirtier booths, this place needs a complete makeover from top to bottom. The food is decent, but be aware of... More

Had chicken francaise over rice or pasta.(a specialty) item. Chicken was overcooked(in water?) and was mushy. Over battered...to heavy and thick. Sauce was a form of the French delight, but unlike any I have ever tasted elsewhere. Linguine was fine Partner had chicken cordon bleu panini. Bland and very dry. Service was adequate, Kristen, but she obviously knows very little... More

We were seated and sat for a while before anyone came to acknowledge us. the waitress finally came over and we ordered. i ordered the prime rib and ordered it med/rare and asked for a baked potato. the waitress said they're out of baked potatoes. After... More

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning - it had been years since I last ate here. Breakfast was very good - well cooked eggs, scrapple and pancakes. The home fries were a bit undercooked. Portions were good, and the service was friendly and unrushed. Place was clean and prices were reasonable.

Breakfast plates came with an enormous order of home fries. Scrapple and pork roll, two of my South Jersey area favorites were both on the menu. We had breakfast with my sister who I had not seen in 5 years. Our waitress allowed us to stay and talk and kept us supplied with coffee and tea and a wonderful smile.
