Good dinner, can be a bit of a lag

Waitress did best to keep up with tables, but at times there was a bit of a lag. Easy on and off Route 206, closest Applebee's (~10 minutes) to Skylands Stadium.

Good homemade Italian food at a chain restaurant

They have really really good Italian food despite being a chain restaurant that specializes in burgers and steaks and also the service here is great.

Run of the Mill Applebee's. Decent food in close proximity to hotel.

Had a business lunch here in early May 2021. COVID protocols were in place and I felt safe eating indoors here. Food was decent and service was good.

It's Applebees and it's adequate

Look it's Applebees. you know what to expect and the food does the job. Nice people, great service. i'd go back if all I needed was food and I'd be happy.

Don't think I will be back

I have eaten at this location many many times in the past two years but for at least 8 months the quality had gone down considerably. Greeting staff are not usually attentive often on their cell phones when you walk in. Wait staff is hit or miss. Slow slow service. They have messed up it orders about half the time. Rarely see management.

I don't usually eat at large chains like this, this was a nice surprise. The waitstaff is exceptional. The food was very well-executed and the menu has lots of options (it's Applebee's). I would definitely eat here again.

Applebee’s? Sure Thing!

Applebee’s isn’t a favorite for my wife but a sure thing for me. I like the menu choices and enjoy what I order, simple enough. The ambiance can be loud but to be expected at a family restaurant. I’d most likely go here if it was on our pick list for eating out!

The food was delicious, and the waitress was very nice and friendly. Great for going to for drinks and watching sports, or just for a nice sit down dinner.

Good Applebee's

Came for dinner while staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door. I'm guessing this is a newer restaurant as it was well kept and very clean. So clean in fact that they fired up the vacuum more than once during a busy dinner service. Wasn't fussy on the noise that created in an already quite loud restaurant. Service was attentive and very good. I had chicken and shrimp with roasted potatoes, which was served very hot (cast iron skillet) and while over seasoned for my liking, was cooked well and was tasty. All in all, it's an Applebee's. This one was quite good but still typical chain, roadhouse fare. Two dollar drafts were an added bonus. I would definitely eat here again if staying next door, but wouldn't go too far out of my way to do so.

Hot food again and great onion rings. Great service again from Addis.

Ate here the other night. Was starving and in a hurry. Addis noticed this so I ordered the onion rings and the chicken and shrimp dish and a double club soda. Addis had both drinks over in 60 seconds. See, he knew I was thirsty and in a hurry, so he brought both the drinks right away. The onion rings came over in 3 minutes and were hot and not greasy. Next came the chicken and shrimp and cubed red potatoes. Nice and hot (not sizzling, but hot). If you have the chance sit in Addis's area; you won't be disappointed.

Friendly service

My wife and myself stopped here yesterday for lunch. While it is a chain establishment I must point out the friendly staff and terrific service. The manager even stopped by at our table to check on everything. We were even greeted by an employee holding the door open upon arriving and leaving. Salads and soups were fresh.

Very convenient to Holiday Inn Express

I never eat in chains when I can help it. But hey, I was exhausted, had traveled a long way, and they were there. Swift, efficient service, somewhat over-priced food, but edible -- sort of.
