Like eating at grandmas with large portions that are easy to share for group of friends and family, nice service good food, usually order 4 entrees and several appetizers for a group of 5 to 6 people and there is plenty for all.

Having grown up enjoying homestyle Italian cooking we know a thing or two. Prepare yourself for a , casual, relaxing, dining experience served up in an what resembles your Mother's dining room. Grandma's meatballs , hand rolled pillows of ground meats served up in a fresh chunky tomato gravy . Other appitizers of Mussels , grilled artichokes, and octopus salad... More

Great great great! We had delicious appetizers, superlative pastas, fresh fish OMG the cannoli. I don't know what I liked the most everything was so good. The venue is so cool, rich of antiques furniture, objects and clothes. It feels like eating in a museum or in grandma's house. I simply loved it and highly recommend this great place.

Super delicious authentic homemade Italian food!! Generous portions and reasonable prices! I have been going there for many years with family and have recommended it to all my friends. You can dine in or take out food. My favorite dishes are the chicken parmigiana or lasagna but no matter what I order, it is always mouthwateringly good. And you definitely... More

A true Italian gem in North Bergen. An immense challenge every time to get through appy, entree and dessert. Extremely reasonable prices and BYO.

This is one of my FAB places! It has been a staple in this neighborhood for 15+ years. Somewhat out of place in this type of neighborhood! It is an upscale priced restaurant, in this very humble neighborhood. The amount of food given has been the same (enough for 3 more meals) but the price is now pricey. We used... More

I've been frequenting DiPalma Bros. for years, introducing it to all my friends and family. Huge portions that are family style and can be shared. North Bergen's answer to Carmines in NYC, without the crowds. Entering the restaurant you feel like you are being taken back in time because of the antiques throughout the restaurant. The best part is that... More

We have eaten here many times and are never disappointed. Southern Italian cooking with lots of red sauces, eggplant (they eggplant balls are great!), and large portions that you are guaranteed to bring home. It is BYOB and a great place to go as a group. The atmosphere is eclectic...lots of antiques that are for sale dot the restaurant. In... More

The food is like a family dinner on Sunday. Large portions and good quality. The meat balls and rice balls should not be missed.
