excellent Princeton restaurant where the food is very good, the atmosphere is very good and the price is commensurate with both. Not the most elegant, not the best food, and not the most expensive. Reasonable value, stable, the service and food are even leveled. So you know what you are getting as a stable customer.

Blue Point Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Princeton. It's a BYOB so don't forget your wine. The fish is always excellent and everybody loves their oysters. They get their fish and seafood fresh daily and you can tell. The sides are also great – I love the brussels sprouts, sweet potato and coleslaw. Their Caesar salad is... More

Blue Point Grill is a simple, straightforward fish restaurant in downtown Princeton right in Nassau St across from the University. Casual but modern interior paired with an extensive selection of fresh fish (from the fish market next door) prepared as you like it. Simple sides accompany each meal. Nothing fancy but very satisfying and good quality.

My app was the shrimp cocktail. Husband had the Buffalo Calamari. We both liked our choices. My entree was the halibut with baked sweet potato and another side of beats. Delicious. H had the tuna, rare, with baked potato. He liked his very much. We decided to get dessert this time. I had the key lime pie, H had the... More

Visited them on mother's day and I had visited them many times before. They offer consistently excellent seafood. We had some oysters to start which were delicious and I took the cajun swordfish (medium rare) while my wife took the tuna (almost rare). They were both excellent. We have never been disappointed in this restaurant from their food. It is... More

I'm not a fish eater so I am always a bit worried when sometimes books a fish restaurant. This place however does have a selection of meat dishes which are all very nice and perfectly adequate. I think last time I had the chicken breast with a selection of sides. It's a BYOB restaurant with some soft drinks on offer.... More

I was in town for a college alumni week and stayed with friends in town. On my one free evening we went to dinner at Blue Point Grill. I graduated from nearby Westminster Choir College in 1973, and used to escape the crummy cafeteria food by often going to this location, which at the time was the Esquire Luncheonette, which... When traveling for business I rely heavily on online review sites like this one. That's how I chose Blue Point Grill for dinner tonight, but from Service to food, everything about this spot was disappointing. I was sat in the dining room and ignored by waitstaff for almost 20 minutes while I watched them serve tables around me. I made... More

Blue Point Grill is out of the downtown main area, but is worth a little walk/ drive past the Ivy Inn to get to. Street parking is ample down that way, and the restaurant is totally worth it. We had the lobster and the Chilean sea bass. Both were phenomenal. Warm goat cheese salad and the lobster bisque were amazing.... More
