Kinchleys has been around forever and is cool as it's not upscale or fancy and has lots of character. The pizza, for which its famous, is terrible however. What can I say - cheap ingredients, sloppily made. It almost seems they work at being cheap and sloppy here.

Really tasty thin crust pizza is still the best around, but the place is getting old. Just doesn't hack it for us anymore.

I've never been to this neck of the woods but the rest of my work family have. Either they were born and raised here, had Kinchley's Tavern as a sponsor on their Little League jerseys, or just know the long family history since 1937 of this fine pizzeria. The five of us, 2 kids, and three adults started the night... More

It's just awesome your first visit went so well! Seriously, we were smiling reading your review as you described the pasta, the thin crusts, and even the garlic bread -- now you made us hungry! We can't wait to welcome you back next time you're in our neck of the woods. All the best, The Kinchley's Kares Team More

I have heard about this place for years and finally got there. We ordered 4 pies... olive, meatball, sweet pepper, and pepperoni... the crust is very thin and crisp and amazing... i did not care for the meatball pizza as the meatballs had no sauce on them... but it was ok... the black olive as excellent and so was the... Thanks for giving us a try after all these years! While the meatball pizza wasn't exactly what you were looking for, we're thrilled the black olive and pepper pies hit the spot. Hope you can give our pepperoni pizza a try next time! All the best, The Kinchley's Kares Team More

The best thin crust pizza around! An institution in Ramsey for a good reason. Leave your credit/ debit cards at home; it's cash only!

The best thin crust pizza around. This stuff is just a real treat. I was fortunate to grow up right around the corner from this place. Now that I live in FL, wow do I miss it. If you're ever in the area, treat yourself to some Kinchley's.

The pizza has a crust almost like crunchy pita bread. It's good pizza but if you are hungry you'll have to eat 19 whole pies to fill you up. So it's a little expensive in that regard. Not a fancy place. Kinda cramped

While we certainly recommend that one small pizza is perfect for one, we are glad that you enjoy our thin crust overall! Hope to welcome you back to our cozy spot next time you're back, Chris. All the best, The Kinchley's Kares Team More

If you like thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. Kinchley's is a no frills tavern and the prices are right. It can get crowded at peak times, and they don't take credit cards. I have had spaghetti there a few times as well as the mussels. Both are ok, but it is the pizza that keeps me... More

Absolutely the best "thin" crust style pizza that I've had over the last 60 years (and that's one heck of a lot of pizzas)! My wife's cousin (grew up in Ramsey, NJ) often spoke in raptures of the pizza there. He even traveled from Wilkes-barre (Pocono Mountains) PA to join the other cousins for a reunion yesterday at Kinchley's. FWIW,... More

The title says it all. Prices are reasonable. The wait can be crazy on a weekend. The only downside is it is cash only.
