Small restaurant ( one on the corner and another in the next building).. with great food. The main restaurant features a full bar with seating around the periphery. The place was "packed" when we arrived - so we had about a 40 minute wait - But well worth the time. Food waS EXCELLENT - I had the scungilli! Price was... More

Terrific seafood, very generous portions. Nothing hugely inventive or fancy, just really good food and reasonably priced. My only beef (kidding) is that they don't take reservations and the wait can be extreme on a weekend. The owner (I think he name is Lou) is friendly and fun.

Cozy atmosphere, restaurant is small. Friday night is a long wait but the food is so worth it. The calamari salad is outstanding. All the dishes are great! cocktails are served. There is an Uncle Vinnie's adjacent open for lunch. BYO. Menu is also outstanding. Warning. Don't over order. Portions are very generous. Love both these places.

Over the past several years we have noticed a real decline in the service. We have usually gone a few times a quarter. Last Saturday we went about 8:00 and were told a table would be about 20 minutes. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. About 10 minutes later the bartender handed us menus and said the kitchen... Try to get there at least once a month. Was there last night. First of all, it is loud, but that's because it's rather small and it's always packed. It's packed because the food and drinks are excellent. And the crowd is local Jersey in a casual place, so we tend to be a bit noisy. They make a great... More

This is a must go whenever I travel to New Jersey. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel like family. The food is outstanding, whether having pasta or some of their fresh fish. You will not be disappointed. When you go, make sure you say hello to Uncle Vinnie!

Excellent and FRESH seafood. Best softshell crabs (when in season) I have ever had. Small place, small menu, BUT the special's menu, is the cream of the crop! Besides the extremely friendly staff, fresh seafood, one of the best things about Uncle Vinnie's is that you look at the menu and specials to see what they are offering that night.... More

It was so crowed and loud....menu was limited. We had stone crabs 4 small for 15 bucks and they were mushy! The entrees were horrible too!! We had linguini with clams...no taste at all....and the flounder franchese....digusting!!
