This small old time diner is the real deal when it comes to serving a classic breakfast. My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant Valentine’s Day breakfast/lunch at the Summit diner while listening to some customers crooning away a few classics.

Corned Beef Hash is the way to go. I read about this dish from another reviewer, and went to check it out. The restaurant is one of a kind. small, with lots of charm. and as the other reviewer correctly suggested, the corned beef hash is great. served steaming hot on a generous portion of home fries with 2 eggs... Summit's oldest and best restaurant - a local institution. Much more than it appears to be. After the 2008 Bush bust, unemployed Wall St bankers met here. PS Obama got their jobs back for them.

This diner sets you right back in time. Located in a real old fashioned street car type setting, the restaurant is small and intimate. There are around 10 booths, flanked with coat hooks and a long counter in front of all the cooking action. The menu consists of breakfast food (eggs, omelettes, pancakes), soups, salads and sandwiches. Prices are very... More

Summit Diner is special. It is kind of at the center of the city, and I found street parking rather easily. It is small and not fancy, but it is cozy and homey. My son ordered three pan cakes with bacon, and I ordered Western omelet. The portion is big, and the food is good. The price is reasonable. We... More

Had breakfast last Saturday. Their ham is as good as ever. This is a classic diner that has not changed in forever.

Very greasy... food is too greasy to even be enjoyable when you want to cheat! The diner also smells of greasy food.

We stopped by the Summit Diner after passing by and noticing the classic, funky train car theme. They have an extensive menu including many diner classics. Our food was great (french onion soup was the best diner soup EVER). They also have breakfast served all day. What really made our experience was the kind, attentive service. Out of the places... The food is incredible each and every time! If you're taking to-go, call ahead as they are alway busy and since parking is a bit difficult, you'll be better off. Also, if you're eating in the diner, try to get there before the rest of your party so you'll be able to get seated together once someone is in line.... More

Good experiences there! Food and their services are awesome. However one of the time I went there a elder didn't like how much I gave for tip and was really rude with the waiter and also with me.
