Excellent food. Extremely small options, about 5 dinner options. Not children friendly. BYOB. You will have to ask for check, as in the French and Italian style. If you didn't know you will wait forever for a bill. Wonderful deserts! Not a large seating so make reservations.

We have been dining on Long Beach Island for 25 years and we have never experienced such a rude person (especially since she is the owner of the restaurant) We called to make a reservation and she was basically trying everything to not have us come in. We were 6 people and she was negative about us coming in especially... More

We regret your unfortunate experience on both occasions. However, new customers for the restaurant do not always know that it is a 3 course, prix fixe menu only and that we do not have a children's menu. This is what was being explained to you that Friday night at 8:30 pm when you called to come in at 9pm that... More

We came to this restaurant for dinner knowing it would be high end French cuisine and, for the most part everything was what we expected. The calamari appetizer, however, was over powered with a hot spice and one of the three presented tasted like bad fish (ammonia) which should have never happened in a restaurant purporting every dish to be... We are extremely distressed and apologetic to see that you did not entirely enjoy your time at our restaurant as it is always our goal to ensure that each of our guests enjoy their dining experience with us. It is our understanding that when you made your reservation and spoke to our waitress on the phone, she did explain to... More

Never disappoints . Quality is always superb. Sandwiches are awesome. My fave is the 14 inch imported Italian - prosciutto, cappicola, sopresata, sharp provolone, roasted red peppers and artichokes with balsamic.. May seem pricey at $17.00, but it feeds me and my spouse for one meal and a snack later and is so delicious it is worth every penny. Everything... More

Had a very tasty dinner. Menu is small and prix fix only. What they make, they make well! The dining room is actually called Francis' and is separate from the take-out side of the place.

Always the freshest ingredients and excellent quality. Doesn't get much better than a little bite on the island! Have not yet been there for dinner but I've heard this is also an excellent choice. And the desserts (made on site by the owner who is a French pastry chef) are out of this world!

I stopped for lunch one afternoon in early summer. i ordered what was on the chalk board menu. A plate came out with two tiny pieces of veal and some flat noodles with a medium brown sauce on them. I also had a bottle of a sweet drink. When the bill came I nearly flipped. I was charged $69.00. It... More

In Previous years, my experience here has been better. First, we attempted to call ahead, we called for a solid half hour and no one answered the phone (we thought perhaps they had a problem with their phone line?) we were hungry and wanted subs for lunch, so we stopped in. There were 8 people ahead of us (6 of... More

Menu is limited prie fixe 3 course meal. Different menu for summer and fall. I don't know about the other seaseons. Don't be put off by its location (attached to the deli) as the food is sublime. Very small restaurant. Went there on a Saturday night at 7pm (had reservations for 6 people) and every table was occupied. Had veal... More
