Love sitting at Sacred Ground. The food is wonderful. Tasty and unique. Today I had one of the 5 different soups they offer and it was delicious. They let me sit here for a few hours using the free internet. Thanks so much. I'll be back soon.

Went for breakfast early morning and was pleasantly surprised - good coffee with with awesome breakfast siting outside - what more you want?! Wife had the Eggs Benedict while I went for Franschoek breakfast which were both fantastic and decently priced. Will definitely go again.

My husband ordered the oxtail and when he got halfway through the bowl the oxtail was ice cold asif it was frozen and reheated. He returned it saying to the waitress he doesnt know how old the food was as it was frozen we were then accused of swearing at the waitress and that she was traumatised because she is... More

Great coffee shop, affordable prices and a wide variety of snacks and full meals. Throughout the week we had either breakfast or lunch there and the variety was exceptional. Service is also very good. Highly recommended

A perfect place to for coffee and cake or something to eat. Good strong cappuccino and delicious cakes. The Mozart cake really wow. Very friendly staff, not to close at the mainstreet. The lunches are very nice as well.

Franschhoek is a lovely place, essentially one long street with many art galleries etc. Sacred Ground is a nice little cafe just off this main street, in a little courtyard. It was a little too cold to sit outside but that would be good in better weather. Decent coffee and delicatessen.

My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast at this easily accessible and relaxed shop. I had the Egg Benedict (good) and my wife the Franschoek breakfast (she loved it). The only quirk with the place is the free roaming animals inside the shop. Not all people may be comfortable with the idea of dogs around the table. Whenever I'm im... More

A good place for breakfast before the wine tram because it's right at the starting point. Freshly baked goodies and coffee too.

After walking around Franschhoek we decided to have a late lunch here. The place looked less touristic (if that is possible in Franschhoek) and laid back. We ordered the chili noodles and the salmon with asian salad. Both dishes were delicious. The noodles were covered in a good curry sauce with pieces of salmon. The salmon was shortly baked and... I went to this cafe for coffee on a Saturday afternoon solo. It's located in a courtyard surrounded by shops and the ticket booth of the Frankshoek Wine Tram. There was live music by a gentleman playing three different instruments including the saxophone. This enhanced the atmosphere of this cafe and encouraged me to sit longer. This cafe offers a...
