I just popped in to The Lazy Lizard for a light lunch, but as soon as I saw the displays I wanted to try all the cakes and sweets in the shop. I didn't -- just had a yummy tuna sandwich and salad -- but for readers who go for the sweets, you will NOT be disappointed here. The carrot... More

I went there for dinner and was happily greeted by the owners, their pizza is delicious and I would definitely eat there again

What a rarity, a family run establishment that keeps the friendly touch and provides home cooked food. The lamb pie and roast lamb with all the veggies knock fine dining into a cocked hat if what you want is honest food cooked the way you'd do it for yourself. Just great!

There are seemingly only two lunch options in Prince Albert. Ladila and here. We were not up for burgers and wraps, so we picked the lizard. You can sit inside and in the nice garden. We ordered the chicken curry and the winter chicken soup with lentils and sweet potatoes. Beforehand we got some really nice, warm, home made bread... More

Perfect location for a stop by and have some lunch. What makes this place special imo is the good choice of ingredients. Self made bread, a great pie, and wonderful salads with nuts and avacado. This effort on the details make this a top 5/5 location for me.

We arrived in 33 degrees from a cool Cape Town 20-ish. The front stoep offered a gentle breeze. Milk shakes are great, friendly service and decent portions at reasonable prices. One can also place an order for fresh bread daily. We ordered the Rye, which was very good.

Food is certainly good and above expectation for a little town like Prince Albert. We'll certainly be back when in Town.

My husband and I had lunch here. The food was well presented, tasty and a good portion but probably overpriced by R20 on a plate of food.

We called in here on what was the annual visit by the SA Porsche Owners Club. Despite that we had a very nice lunch, excellent soup, sandwiches and cake. They cook their own bread and offer a lot of interesting options in terms of food, drink and ideas. It seems to be a focal point in Prince Albert
