This has always been one of THE places we like to eat on the Garden Route. The location is beautiful with the restaurant looking out onto the cactus gardens. But disappointingly it had lost its sparkle on this occasion. The food was still excellent, but the service lacklustre and we did not feel particularly welcome - but maybe we were... More

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere in the garden is very nice. It is a special place with lots of cactus plants in the garden. We highly recommend the restaurant for dinner.

We phoned late and the friendly manager/head waiter? told us that he is full, but we could come at around 8pm, enjoy a drink and then they will probably have a table ready. It was so, except we had to ask for a drinks menu after 10 minutes being there (we walked around and looked at the decor and setting,... More

We had heard so many great things about Mo and Rose from friends and so decided to try it out while in the area. Our meals were delicious and the service was impeccable. Although it is on the expensive side, we felt that we got our monies worth and it was a great night out

The food was excellent. Mussels, and duck starters were followed by pork and bacon with asparagus. All excellent. I was very disappointed by the glass of wine. We are in the middle of an excellent wine valley and the wine should be good. I chose a Pinot noir. It arrived chilled straight from the fridge. The half open bottle told... More

We went there for dinner with friends (but you can also stay at this location in one of the cottages). The restaurant is very good. Very tasteful dishes, interesting and far from standard food and tastecombinations - and very good wines of course.

The restaurant was half full on a Friday evening, most surprising I thought. My previous 2 visits had been hectic with the restaurant being fully booked, and where I experienced excellent food and service. Not so this time. The service was slow with the 2 waiters having a slap dash don't care attitude. The food was really disappointing-I had the... More
