more asian guests coming here than western guests. food was simple but the sambal matah (chili) really was the star. very spicy fragrant until i drooled lol. i particularly don’t like chili but i tried to eat half of the chili as it’s really perfect...to combine with fried pork. fried pork / babi goreng (not crispy pork / babi renyah) came with big chunks. i wish that number of cooking staff is doubled the current number as the waiting time was about an hour to get the food. well, i ordered a take away as i stayed just across the street.More

The Babi sambal matah is to die for. I think it must be the best in Bali. Everything is just so fresh and tasty (and spicy)

Very famous among the indonesian community for the delicate taste of their sambal (the spicy sauce made from tomato/chilli/spices), but also among Bali expats for their food and the nice mood.

A must visit place whenever I’m in the island. Reasonable price for such good food. The place isn’t too big so it’s best if you go there early, preferably before lunch time or else you won’t get a spot. If you like spicy food, then...this is the place for you 😊.More

After so long been want to try eat here I finaly have time to visit on this trip. As expected i love it, i order the fried pork with raw chilli and rice. The pork is yummy and I love the raw chilli (sambal matah),...its dont have as manny spice as the others place in the sambal matah but for me its taste beter this way and we can order the level of spicy of the chilli. But try to avoid eat in rush hour time due this place not to big and seem like its always full. Not much parking space also so like me you might have to park bit far and walk to this place. But for me it is worthed, i sure will come back again next time i visit bali.More

If you want to eat in this place make sure that you have such an extremely spare time to get here, because this is taking way taking long time. This place has limited seats available and then it takes more than 1 hour for the...food to be served. They clearly need to improve their system or how to eat. Can’t complain for the food, it tastes great! But not so worth by the time we spent.More
