We ate at the Corn Maiden last Thursday. While it was the only place to eat at the resort on arrival I had low expectations; I was wrong. We had the Buffalo tartare for starters and it was superb. The meat was chopped to a fine slaw combined with olive oil, salt pepper etc. I had a mixed grill with... More

The Corn Maiden is a an attractive open space, made more intimate with partial walls and alcoves, with nice art work and big windows looking toward the Sandia Mountains which in the late afternoon glow with the last rays of sun. Service was capable and courteous. The Christmas Day buffet was extraordinary. Now I fully appreciate the meaning of a... More

This was our second visit to the Corn Maiden while visiting New Mexico. I looked forward to the return, and it did not disappoint. This visit was just before Christmas. The restaurant was beautifully appointed for the holiday. The setting at the base of the Sandia Mountains is striking. There were torches burning on the patio; it was beautiful. We... More

We have eaten here many times and loved it. This time the staff was very unhelpful and not flexible at all and the food was terrible. I have no idea what is going on there, however, they better fix it. Food way overpriced and just not good period.

While not cheap, the Corn Maiden offers interesting and innovative dining. Wine list is pretty good and service is attentive but not intrusive.

The Hyatt hotel is rather isolated and we were "stuck" with just two dining options. Both turned out to be much better than we expected. My dinner at Corn Maiden was the better of the two. We had the chicken and pork loin entrees here. Both were excellent.

Salads were wonderful. Meal was half and half. Special shrimp and scallop grilled, perfect. Lobster pasta not so. No mention of cream/cheese sauce on menu and definitely too much. Why, when pasta is mentioned, everyone wants to overload with the starch? Lobster was swimming in sauce. Not expected at a higher end restaurant.

Very good place to eat on the hotel property. We enjoyed the duck, pork and tenderloin. The atmosphere is great and it is very clean. Bar is very nice.
