We only ever bought our tortillas and tamales from amigos since I was a kid. We still stop every time we pass through. The tamales are excellent and cheap. Green salsa on top OMG The best.

On a friend's recommendation we stopped here for tamales on our way home to Tucson. He didn't steer me wrong! Honestly some of the best tamales I've ever had. Loved the flavor and, holy cow, SEVEN DOLLARS a dozen! Bought 3 dozen and a breakfast...More

The food is really good and you can buy it in bulk at a very good price! You need a lot of food for an event or something you can get a lot from them.

It used to be so much better. Not sure what changes they have made, but we did not like the flavor of the tamales at all! I hope they figure it out and improve this. We will not return.
Take your own container on Saturday or Sunday and you can purchase it by the quart. To to it off, it's the best around!
Food was good and the service was fast. Men's restroom was a little strange though. First time that I have seen the wash basin outside the restroom.
Have been staying in the Deming area and have picked up food at Amigo's twice now. Excellent Mexican food and a very affordable price. My favorite is the tostados.
