Not only was this highly rated on TA, it was also highly recommended by the locals. I ate there twice. The place is not large but it is lively and the staff stays on top of things. The food I had was fantastic and even better were the prices. Fantastic values for the quality of the food. Mind you, it’s... More

My wife and I just spent the weekend in Deming. We were told to try this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and enjoyed the friendliness of the other patrons and the staff. It was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely stop in when ever we are in the area again.

This was the 2nd place I'd eaten in this city. The waitstaff was very friendly. And the enchiladas were about par for what you'd get at a Mom and Pop joint. The 2 odd things were this was the 2nd place to sell soda by the can. $1.75 per can of soda is pretty steep. The 2nd was the queso... More

Had lunch, it was excellent and the price was right. Unpretentious, like a diner 50 years ago. It's only about 5 minutes off of 10. Friendly staff.

Super, super good food. Reasonable service Staff (Maribel?) Very friendly and helpful. Ref beans very flavorful. Salsa is excellent (maybe a bit too much cilantro.) Green saice made fresh with wonderful flavor, thou not as hot as expected. Soapapillas are over the top. Stop at this place and you will not be disappointed. Take exit 85 if going west.

The best Mexican food I've had in a long time. That could raise price 50 % and still be a good deal. It's a local cafe and fills up early.

It was only 6 blocks off the highway. Some of the best salsa we had on our trip south. Reasonable prices and good service for a late afternoon stop. In a cute downtown area. Lots of local diners. Just passing through, but it sounds like there is good hiking and camping available nearby, though we didn't have time to experience... More

Came out of Big Bend planning to stop in El Paso on the way to Tuscon. El Paso was a mess so kept driving till sundown and found my self in Deming. Hotel clerk sent me to Irma's. Had the combo plate. It was great. Lot's of Mexican restaurants at home in Iowa, but nothing like this. The secret was... More
