We had dinner here and found it unremarkable in every way. The atmosphere is almost cafeteria like, the food decent but expensive considering the portion size. There are many better places to eat in Taos.

We stopped here one night as it was one that I had seen rated pretty good. I tried the oysters on the half shell they were not very fresh I probably should have know better. Long way to the ocean. But he other things we had were not very good either. We have crossed them off our list. The service... More

The food was OK, but nothing exceptional. So I call it average. La Cueva is the better choice, by far.

We had a group of 6 and everyone was starving. No disappointment in that count -- the portions were so large we all ate and took home leftovers. The service was quick and VERY friendly. We all ordered different dishes and everyone was pleased. Not as spicy as 'typical' NM (at least where we're from, near Abq and SF), but... More

It may not look like much from the outside but it is incredible! You order at the counter then find a table. They offer a large menu and prices were very reasonable. The food arrived quickly. I ordered a garlic shrimp dinner with beans and rice that was fantastic! My husband ordered chicken chimichanga with red chili, I tried to... More

This place was around the corner from our AirBnB--an easy walk, and a total treat for our first night in town. Had the wild caught spicy salmon and chicken burrito, with a side of chips, guac, and salsa. Would highly recommend all three. Not a fancy place, by any means, but quick, friendly, and really tasty.

The food was outstanding! Friendly, casual atmosphere. We felt very welcome and the salsa is amazing.

Asked a local in parking lot where to get good Northern New Mexico Mexican food. She said try the Guadalajara just north of here. Walked in at mid afternoon and they were not busy. My sis and I both opted for the pork enchilada plate. I used the bathroom while waiting for our food to arrive and noticed employee left... More

This restaurant is very basic with a "diner" type interior but the staff were friendly, the prices were good and the food was excellent. It is definitely not a fancy place but for good Mexican food when visiting Taos, we highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the go-to place for authentic Mexican food! Simple, non-pretentious, great place for easy dining for the whole entourage!
