My wife and I usually dine at Sonya's on a Sunday morning. The menu is varied with basically what I call, "Good Ol' American" cooking. We almost always enjoy something with a variation of eggs, potatoes, chile, and meat. You get a good portion for the price paid and it's wholesome and delicious. They serve really good coffee also. It... More

Sonya's is not imposing, but the food and service are great. A good range of American and Mexican dishes on plates piled high. Good eating.

Some Amazing people made an amazingly nice jester. To whoever paid for our meal we are extremely humbled and grateful. Thank you very much.

If only I lived closer I would eat here every day. Discovered this on a trip from Texas to Utah and ate there a total of three times, one lunch and two breakfasts. The waitresses were friendly and the food was plentiful for the price. The first time I got a USA Cheeseburger, the second time I got the two... More

Wonderful diversity of meals. Visited for many brunches and never had a bad meal. Everyone was very friendly and service was very prompt. Reasonably priced and much nicer than some of the larger chains.

We tried Sonya's on the recommendation of locals who said they had the best breakfast in town. If this is the best Farmington has to offer, they're in trouble. The place is old and the wait staff crusty, but fairly efficient. It took a long time to get our food and barely warm when it finally arrived. We had to... More

Very good and fast service, staff was very friendly. We had beef veggie soup, altough it was more like stew, it was very good. The fried chicken steak and grilled chicken breast were like they should be. Would come back again.

I never have eaten here before so thought would give it a try. Plates we cheap w alot of food. The taste not so bad. However we ordered hot chocolate it was cold with no flavor so the waitress got me a new one. A little bit better. My biscuits and gravy were only semi warm but everything else was... More

My husband and I went to Sonya's at the recommendation of the desk clerk at a nearby hotel. I was worried that he - a vegetarian - would find it heard to find a good dinner. Sonya's is a friendly, well-run family restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. My husband had a vegetable omelette and I had... More
