We were driving south on Valley today and saw Dick's Café. We thought it looked like a blast from the past, so we stopped for lunch. Had delicious hamburgers and outstanding french fries - great choice to stop here. Found out that the fourth generation of one Las Cruces family runs this cafe! We will definitely come back.

I had the hamburger with fries, and we also tried the ham and cheese sandwich with chips. They do not serve coffee after 11 am ( when breakfast stops) so we went with water. The menu on the website is very old and needs to be replaced (see the steak prices). There was a steady stream of customers. The food... More

I love a good diner burger. This place is just the ticket! Great burger and friendly service! I usually go in for coffee and then stay for lunch! Really enjoy it!

I go here for breakfast as often as possible. The service is top knotch and friendly. Food is always cooked exactly how you order it. May be the top 3 places for breakfast in Las Cruces

I went to this legendary highway cafe that has been part of the dining scene for more than half a century. I hit before the large lunch crowd arrived, but after my experience, I'm not sure why they are so busy. it could be because it is economical? I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich (which was smoked with pecan wood)... More

We stopped here for a late lunch and my husband and I both had the hamburger. It was one of the best burgers I have had. I typically don't order burgers out, but was glad that I did. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked well done but it was not dry. We both commented on how good it was. The... More

Heard about this place from a family member. Decided to try it out while in the city for business. You seat yourself and there are more than enough tables. Staff is tentative and warm hearted. Debra was my waitress, absolutely amazing. You can tell there are many regulars that come here, has that family feel. I had the BBQ Brisket... More

Dick's Cafe was here when we first moved here in 1975 and we still think it is one of the BEST places for a cold beer and green chile cheese burger to this day. Dress casual and feel laid back and comfortable here.

The place isn't really much to look at but my cheeseburger was a bit better than average. Just so you know, they do serve beer so if combo is what you are interested in than check the place out.
