Emilio's was recommended by the owner of our B&B. It's a really large space with a cage full of screeching birds at one of the entrances (not sure what's that about), but we weren't seated where that was a problem. Portions are large, and food is generic Mexican/Southwestern. Service friendly. All in all, not a gourmet highlight, but a solid... More

What a pleasant surprise. We stopped pre-lunch for coffee and ended up ordering an appetizer - mexican green chile wontons and some posole that was Excellent. Just the right amount of heat and obviously fresh. Chris, the owner was great! And there was live music which started around noon. A very good choice when visiting the plaza.

We stopped in Mesilla on our way to Texas, we had heard it was a quaint western town. We arrived around 1:00 and was looking for lunch, we were also traveling with a dog, so we needed something dog friendly. Emilia's has an outdoor patio, so we asked if we could sit with the dog out there, not only were... More

Have passed by many times, thought we would try for lunch. Food had absolutely no taste, the blandest Mexican food I have ever eaten. Waitress indicated ownership changing, should also change chef.

Great Music! Great Food! Went there for our 17th Annv. We are Snowbird's! just got here for the Winter from N.N.England, Same day as their Sept 18th Festa. Food Taste just like what my Ama Martinez and Tia's used to make at the Imgrant wrk Camps, bk in the day. Now I'll admit, I'm a "Milkweed", Half Mex/Half White! But... More

Outside patio was nice, but we decided to sit inside. The festival was going on in the plaza making it a little loud. Young man who waited on us was fantastic in his customer service skills. We talked about the pecan beer with his description skills got me to select it. This was fantastic choice. The food was very good... More

We shared a green chili cheeseburger. It was the perfect medium heat for me. The salsa is made daily and was one of the best I've ever had, came with good chips. We also used it as a French fry dip. yummy!! Pleasant, helpful waitstaff too!

I was here for taco Tuesday and a beer with friends. Fun atmosphere and a guitar player. Filled up on tacos for sure. Good for a snack and to hang out.

Emilia's is definitely your next Old Mesilla destination. The location is perfect, the patio is inviting and comfortable, the food and drinks are incredible and the live music is the perfect finishing touch on a marvelous dining experience. My wife and I had Ernesto as our server and he is truly one of the most servant-focused and sincerely sweet restaurant... More

We had a nice time sitting outside. We ordered drinks, nachos, and a banana chimichanga. It's in the center of town on a corner, so it easily attracts customers. The only negative was the restroom. It is in much need of a makeover and didn't seem clean.
