I ordered the homemade mac and cheese. It was horrible--elbow macaroni with a watery milk sauce and some cheese half way melted on top. The green salad came from a bag with a packet of dressing and packets of saltine crackers. My husband had the...More

We enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. The burgers were excellent, and the onion rings and sweet potato fries were perfect! The staff were very friendly, and the facility was very clean. A good value for your dollar.

Great people, friendly, fast, and courteous. The food is good. Just a simple family owned place to eat where they make you feel at home. The hours of operation like most restaurants in Raton is limited/odd.

One of the better green chile cheeseburgers I've had. Cute place, popular with the locals, friendly and efficient service. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were undercooked--but the burger was so big that I didn't care.

The wait staff is VERY nice and attentive. Hamburgers are great, and breakfast is good, down-home breakfast. Nothing healthy, but well done. Always have a good experience here. Good prices for what they serve as well.

Stopped in for breakfast on the way out of town. Decided to try a local place instead of Denny's. Service is very friendly and the food was good. Choose pappitas (fried potatoes) over the hash browns. Menu had good selection and prices were very reasonable....More

We loved the hand packed burgers and the awesome bread! The burger itself is well made, with generous portion size, as well as amazing juicy flavor. The meatloaf is also amazing. Worth the trip!

Stopped in for lunch. Great service, good food. Above average sopaipillas. I'm told they're also very reliable event caterers. Enjoy.

Description
Family owned restaurant in business since 1923. Our sandwiches are still served on our homemade bread. We have expanded the menu this year to include more home style favorites like meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes, and spaghetti. We have kept our local Mexican food favorites such as our pancake style enchiladas, stuffed sopapilla, and fajitas. We also have beer and wine to accompany your meal.
