The Owl competes with The Buckhorn for "best burger" at this crossroads town. If you want to know which is better, go to both!!! We have, and they are both good. I might give the nod to The Buckhorn, but it takes about a half...More

Owl is such a storied establishment - we received soooo many recommendations to drop in to enjoy its famous Green Chili Cheeseburger. What a disappointment it was to be presented with a flat, cold, barely melted cheese over the burger burger. The onion rings, while...More
I wasn't sure about going into a bar/cafe. But I was so happy I did. The place is super clean not fancy. The green chili cheese burger and green chili fries were so good. They have a steady crowd and food is brought out fast.

There aren't many places to find "real" homemade hamburgers. Irregular shaped, so it doesn't quite fit the bun. I just had a regular burger, my husband had the green chili burger and licked his fingers. Hand-cut homemade French fries as well. Full bar. Quick service.
Obviously we had to stop in here due to its extensive history and the fact it is mentioned in many New Mexico articles. The burger was good and came out very quickly. Its typical bar decor, but was comfortable.
