This is a busy place 24 hrs a day. It is a muti- menu not just mexican. We go there when in town. It is right next to the motel we stay at. They have great portions. They will try to make things right for you if you are unhappy about something. We see a lot a travelers stopping there... More

We were tourists only in the area for one day. There are seemingly limited restaurant options in the area for dinner, according to review apps. We came in and seated ourselves as per the instructions on the sign. It took a waitress a long time to come serve us... hopefully they don't treat all tourists like this (there were quite... More

El Camino looks like the 1950's from the outside, and serves up the Great American Diner experience. I've never had a bad meal here. They've got fantastic salads (love the Avocado Salad), and the Gyros. They are our go-to spot for late-night dining in Socorro since they are open 24 hours. My favorite are taquitos with red chile over the... More

It's nice to be able to get a good hearty New Mexican breakfast no matter how early you roll through town. You can always count on that. The service is reasonable, but the coffee could use some help.

Stopped on a Tuesday evening. Ordered tacos, which were ok & beef fajita. The meat was flavorless, tough & burned. Our server did ok. Won't return tho. Didn't seem particularly clean.

Wonderful retro diner. Always eat at the El Camino while in Socorro. Coffee is never cold and waiter/waitress is always attentive. Locals must love it also because it is a happening spot!

El Camino is open 24 hours, and if not 365 days a year, very close to it. I like to catch sunrise at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and like a real breakfast before I go, and so I go to El Camino. The service is good, the people are friendly, the breakfast is fine, and so I'm happy.... More
