Stopped for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The portions are generous and well priced. The staff is very courteous and responsive. We travel with a registered service dog and were never questioned about bringing her in, as sometimes in our travels we've been confronted by business owners. We would definitely return for a delicious meal.

Smothered burrito was huge! They have a unique take on their chili rellanos. Absolutely fantastic, perhaps the best I've had. Green sauce is spicy and flavorful. Around 10 to 12 bucks a plate. They even throw in some killer sopapillas

My wife & I had passed La Cocina many times in our trips to Taos with every intention of stopping in to eat. We finally had our chance when some friends invited us for a late breakfast. WOW! We're we sorry it took us this long to try it out. I got the breakfast chicken fried steak with green Chile... More

This family owned restaurant provided a very nice atmosphere with good local food. We had a large group and were served promptly and had good service. The restaurant also had a collection of excellent local art on display that also added to the experience.

If you want authentic Mexican food, you won't go wrong by eating here. It's on the south end of Taos. The waitress said the cook is like her grandmother...using old Mexican recipes to create a wonder meal.

A local in Taos recommended La Cocina to us so we stopped there for dinner. The food was very good, but a little bit on the expensive side. We really enjoyed the cookie we got there that was as big as your face!

I think this is the best homemade New Mexican food in town. The tortillas are freshly fried, the salsa and guacamole are perfect. The rellenos are deliciously unique. The only place I eat Mexican food!

We had breakfast at this terrific restaurant and it was wonderful. The menu is large, the food flavorful and the price was right. You get a lot of food for the money!

While Taos has so many Awsome places to throw a fork into this is the very best. I say this as I am a bit of a critic when it comes to authentic and local food prepared with traditional techniques. The building is so cool inside and like other have reviewed the wait staff is perfect. I hope they never... More

For those who are looking for a lunch date that has a sweet ending this is a nice surprise! Family owned and family operated with a flavor pallet that can appeal to everyone. Hidden inside the menu is A fold out American food section, I would not even open that section. You are coming to this restaurant for the family... More
