There are about 50+ eateries in Taos NM. And each of them will promise you the "authentic experience" of Taos. None, however, typifies Taos better than this diner (and market)! This is where the locals eat, and with good reason. The food is always terrific, and genuine. The service is fun, and the people watching ( a must-do in Taos)... More

The California eggs Benedict was fabulous- ate every bite like it was my last meal. Hubby enjoyed his sausage and eggs and we both got a kick from the decor and vibe. Will be back on next trip to Taos!

The food was delicious. As much as I enjoyed my food, I enjoyed the art displayed from local artists even more! This place was like an art gallery where you can eat.

Breakfast and lunch only. Kitchen is a strong traditional local New Mexican specialist. Nothing I've tried was anything other than outstanding. Want locals, and local cuisine......stop here.

I like the fresh ingredients, often locally sourced, organic or gluten-free, that make up the generous portions. Wonderful breakfast burritos of many different kinds, as well as the more usual breakfast offerings. Two locations, north and south of the plaza, mean convenience. The northside one has a nice little market next door. A gem.

Delicious food (and chai) in a comfortable Americana atmosphere of pleasant and efficient service at a reasonable price.

I have food sensitivities, so it's really difficult for me to get all my needs met. Here I have choices! I typically go there for breakfast. Yummy gluten free pancakes or my choice of various kinds of delicious gluten-free breads. They have New Mexican style breakfasts, or corned beef hash, benedicts to die for... or just a regular American fare... More

First, the food is generally awesome; if not they will do their best to suit your particular taste needs. The selection is great, if you want a burrito without beans order the Willey [yep that's the guy I know], otherwise choose from the others. Biscuits are large and misshapen, i.e. not round and in layers, great with eggs, butter, and... More

I had an omelet with mushrooms and ham. it came with a biscuit. The omelet was acceptable but not memorable. Frankly, the omelet came with one of the worst biscuits I have ever had. Canned biscuits have better flavor and texture. Avoid the biscuits as a bread choice.

Yes I know, breakfast can only bee done so many ways, but Taos Diner I & Taos Diner II has really good food! Don't be in a hurry and take your time to enjoy the food, especially the homemade corned beef hash! The portions are really big and the prices very reasonable!
