Driving through and stopped for lunch. Everything we had was delicious but I have to say the chicken posole soup with red chili was unreal. Superchunky and a bowl is easily a meal. Friendly wait service. Stop it's worth it!

Most restaurants in SE New Mexico serve something closer to Tex-Mex than New Mexican, so I was pleased to find this restaurant just a short drive north of Alamogordo. I've tried the green chile stew, enchiladas (red), and adovada. All were excellent, as was the...More

We were able to make reservations which was great since we had small children in our party of ten. The food was fine. We all appreciated the sopapillas and abundant chips and salsa. Our server was attentive and did well with road-weary little kids.

Very good food and customer service. Veteran friendly, great prices and they also have at south western art work for sale. If your in to knives, they have a really nice assortment.

This restaurant provided a pleasant stop for lunch in the New Mexican Chihuahuan desert. The outside doesn't look exciting, while the interior is festive and inviting and contains a nice gift shop. The service is fast and friendly. The lunch buffet is nothing extravagant. However,...More

We were visiting family who live in Alamogordo - they asked us if we wanted "fancy" mexican food or "chgeap" mexican food. We said fancy. They took us to Casa de Suenos in Tularosa, and it was superb. First, though, if you're from outside New...More

Mr. Burp Man who is a red chile enchilada snob claims these enchiladas were perfect! He always orders them with an egg on top and when they were brought out to him, he looked at them with such love in his eyes, I was jealous!...More
