We had the special Goulash for the day. It was very flavourful with soft juicy meat and nice spices. It was a little bit too expensive in our opinion but delicious to eat. Very friendly service as well. will eat there again.

The smoked salmon trout with scrambled eggs was delicious. Very nice menu and great food at very reasonable prices.

Breakfast was nice. Service was great, the company was the best. The coffee odor on entry is welcoming. Was pleasantly surprised with the speed of the service. The food was good, but not really WOW. That being said - what can really be done with bacon, eggs and toast.

We have been to Pickles and Things before for breakfast but this time we were with a large group and needed lunch. Service was quick and food for 10 people was served quickly. Food is plentiful and very tasty. Definately on my recommend list and we will visit again.

We stopped in Dullstroom for a very quick lunch. We received a beautiful welcome, and told the hostess that sadly we were in a rush. Needn't have worried because the service we received was so prompt. What's more, our lunches were really good. For anyone interested we had the chicken snitchel and a hot quiche.

The manager was very welcoming as we walked in. Which immediately makes you feel at home. They even gave a small bowl of water to my dog aswell without us having to ask. I love it when they make my pets feel welcome too! They have the best fries, thin and crispy. Great for a snack with beer since they... More

Had an early lunch here. The coffee was very nice but the burger was pretty average. Unfortunately the bun was very stale. Most of us had burgers, my one mate had the full English breakfast which looked, and apparently tasted very average.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Timbavati. Good choice for breakfast. I had the lamb livers and bacon mix with mieliepap (without the toast, scrambled egg) as I have to eat gluten free.

Not much ambiance but the trout dishes were excellent and service was very pleasant. I always feel like sides are an afterthought at most restaurants, but their vegetables and side salad were really quite nice! Also a good spot to grab a few simple snacks and bottles of wine if you're staying nearby.

I ordered the smoked trout sandwich for my brunch. When it arrived, it certainly looked very impressive, but once I lifted off the sliced of seed bread perching on top, the filling was all lettuce, a sweet berry sauce and tiny cherry tomatoes. The smoked trout was there, hiding amongst the lettuce. At R80, I certainly expected more trout, and left... More
