To be honest, there aren't many Kosher Deli's in the area! The food was good, with ample portions and quality. There were about 20 people there when we visited, and all looked like they were enjoying their meals. The service was hectic and somewhat erratic - "I'll be right with you" - and 6-8 minutes later they came. The Kitchen... More

Great Kosher deli! Fantastic chicken noodle matzo ball soup, and excellent pastrami. Rreally great turkey meatloaf sandwich, too. In spite of Kosher delis not being "in" right now, Buddy's was completely full when I was in there on a Saturday for lunch.

I mostly come here for take out but there are a number of tables should you decide to eat in...This is a friendly local Jewish deli that quickly processes orders and the food is very good...it is a no frills eatery and really the only game in town aside from a small diner on the next corner

A great place for lunch, dinner or just a noche. I have been coming to Buddy's since I moved into the neighborhoold 20 years ago. The food is great. The dinner specials are reasonably priced. If you are not in the mood for a full dinner, you can order a sandwich or some hot dogs.

On our way to a wedding in Long Island we stopped off once again for lunch. This time I ordered the lean open brisket sandwich. What a treat. We had to remind the server to bring over the gravy, the ketchup and the French fries. While the service was poor, the food once again was great. This is a go... More

Except for the prices, the food gives me memories of my childhood days in Brooklyn. The corned beef sandwich was lean and wonderful. When you sit down a generous portion of Cole slaw and full sour pickles awaits you. The sandwich is loaded with delicate and juicy hot corn beef that is thinly cut and pushed into the center so... Kosher delis are truly a dying breed. Due to demographics and economics it is impossible for them to survive, even here in NYC. This place is the real deal offering fresh authentic fare for a reasonable price. This restaurant is family owned and run. The staff is young, friendly and competent. One of the reasons by son moved back to... More

This Deli has been in existence for more than 30 years. Unfortunately this establishment has a hard time since Kosher Deli's are a dying breed. Our neighborhood now is about 60% Asian. The food is good. They are also very good for catering an affairs. We patronize this store frequently.

There was a time when you could find several Kosher Deli's in just about every neighborhood of NYC, Sadly that is no longer the case. Buddy's is one of only a small hand full left in Queens, and it's a very very good one.The food is excellent, and you would find a difficult time finding a better pastrami sandwich anywhere,... The sandwiches are delicious and ginormous! Love their corned beef, pastrami, chopped liver and homemade chicken soup with matzoh balls. The coleslaw and sour pickles on the side are always fresh. Not that large a place, but it's homey:)
