Hadn't eaten at YHnH in about three years. Before moving out of state, it was where we celebrated special occasions. When visiting this summer, we just HAD to go in for dinner. It is still special and has that stepped back in time feel. Food and service still worth the trip!

We've eaten at this restaurant off and on for years and decided to give it another try after hearing about a new option called Bar bites. This option consists of eating in the bar area with a menu that features gourmet appetizers including filet mignon sliders, a variety of homemade springs rolls stuffed with steak and cheese, vegetables, etc., stuffed... Back to Chautauqua Lake and Bemus Point for our annual business trip. We've now got a routine down. Drinks at the Hotel Lenhart, then wander down the lakeshore to the Hare and Hound for Bar Bites. We sit at the bar and order the appetizers. Some colleagues from the area are shocked we eat here because it's expensive and fancy,... More

Many items on the Bar Bites menu are freshly made every night; egg rolls, shepherd's pie, nice salads, and homemade pies. Menu of martinis to choose from, wine list, and beer. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly.

If you like a white tablecloth resturant with a lot of old fashioned atmosphere this is for you. We have eaten here twice in the last few weeks. We ate once in the resturant area and once in the bar area. We enjoyed the food in the bar, a lot of choices an felt reasonably priced. Good service

My wife and I shared the Seafood Julienne and it was very good, maybe even excellent! Our friends split the sirloin steak and said that was excellent also. From the outside, the place looks like an old English pub and once inside, it is cozy and comfortable. The service is good and friendly.

This restaurant in the heart of Bemus Point is very charming. The bar room area is intimate. They offer wonderful bar bites menu. One of our favorite restaurants. Great service and pleasant servers.

We have been visiting Ya Hare 'n Hounds Inn for drinks, dinners, and company holiday parties for many years. The food has always been amazing each visit. I highly recommend the Three Wisemen cocktail off their drink menu. Don't miss the sunset! Drinks, food, staff, atmosphere, and lake views are amazing!
