I have had dinner in the downstairs tavern twice and the food is great. The chicken riggies are probably the best I have ever had and most recently I orderd a Tuscan Martini pizza that was the best pizza I have ever had. The prices are also very reasonable for this level of quality.

We dined in the Tavern, near the beautiful fireplace. The food here was good and abundant, but what impressed me most was the service. Our waitress was so nice and kind to our daughter and to us. She made me taste the beer before I ordered it, and she came to check on us multiple times. I had a lobster... More

Recommended by our customer while on a business trip, I met my coworker in the tavern downstairs for dinner. Only one other table occupied besides a few bar patrons...not a good sign for what was touted as a popular dining establishment. Menu was one of those I consider too long to ensure quality food (how could they possibly keep all... More

Its definitely an elegant place. Great food, at a reasonable price. Very elegant space and the service was really impeccable. If you're in the area, definitely have a stop in at least to see the building.

Had the friday fish fry, nice couple of pieces of fish with breading that was just right. Popover and butter nice change from bread. Bartender was very professional and handled some obnoxious customer with a polite what can I get you.

We often enjoy dining at the Lincklaen House and have never had a bad experience. Once when service was slow, they promptly offered a round of complimentary drinks. The star of the show is the main dining room, a beautiful Federalist style room with wonderful architectural detail. It's a step back in time with great food, friendly staff, and beautiful... More

This restaurant has a large menu, but we both had trouble finding something we'd like to eat. We each settled for pasta dishes which were just ok. The complimentary puff pastry was outstanding.

We stayed outside in the courtyard, being involved ourselves to move some umbrellas for having some shadow at our tables. Slow motion waitresses, long wait for dining. Limited options for eating, similar with fast food dishes . Expensive for what you get. An old house and some original stones might represent a small attraction.

Thank you for the review I will address your concern with the waitstaff. I am not sure what you meant by limited choices and fast food. Our Tavern menu has 78 items on it and all but the chicken tenders, russian dressing and tarter sauce are made from scratch. More

Had great beer on tap. The service was great lunch was good but my favorite part was they made fresh pop overs instead of bread. They are to die for..and you can buy extras if available. The atmosphere was quaint with the original stone walls. A define stop everytime we go to Cazenovia

We have visited many times and have enjoyed a variety of items on the menu. We especially like to visit the courtyard in the summer for a pleasant dinning experience. It is a great place for both small and large parties. It offers a bar atmosphere in the basement and Sunday brunch also.
