We were in Cooperstown for (what else?) a baseball tournament. We were looking to get away from the team crowd and get something delicious to eat. Cooley's was it! While the tavern itself could probably do with some updating, it did not take away from...More

This place was filled with local patrons, and I can see why. Even though it's not much to look at,the food was great. The best pot roast French dip sandwich that I have ever have. Awesome wings! Nice break from your typical tourist town restaurants.

I'd already been inside the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, and my wife wasn't that interested, so we walked an additional 500 feet (per Google) to the closest Irish pub -- Cooley's. The people inside (the wait staff and the regulars) were all very...More

The woman at the info booth recommended that if we were hungry and if we liked Rueben sandwiches that the Irish Pub down the road had the best one in town. We took her advise and it was the best I have ever had. That...More

OK. First off, the restaurant is great. We have been there many times before this time and it was fantastic. The waiter took our drink order that took forever to get to us, then he took our food order. That was where it all went...More

Cooperstown is limited in its bar scene but Cooley's is the best. Friendly staff, cold beer, cordial patrons, and good bar food. What more could you want.

Good burgers and lunch specials. Booths and large wooden U-shaped bar. Brews local and trucked in on tap. Other standard bar offerings.

As the others said, get a table in the back. The bar area can get loud and rowdy (as bars do), so you'll want to be removed from it.
