Stopped here for a quick bit before the Hall of Fame..Pizza slices were HUGE we asked for 3 slices and the guy gave us 4 very nice of him..all for 10 bucks including 2 drinks! Just some decent down to earth guys making some good pizza! We loved it!

Wish they were a bit friendlier. Also got our order wrong and didn't see it until we got to the hotel and it was too cold and icy to go back. Pizza had generous sizes.

My brother-in-law is a chef and says the first thing many chefs do is check a restaurant's bathroom. "If the bathroom is dirty, you can bet the kitchen is, too." My husband used the men's room at Sal's (after his meal) and said he had never seen a grosser bathroom. A shame, because the pizza was tasty, the service was... More

Classic NYC Pizza by Sal's, Pizza and Hot wings were really good thumbs up a little Too expensive for what they are offering Pizza by the slice depending on the type of slice you get.

Most every team that comes to Cooperstown ends up at Sal's at some point. The main reason for this is good food-- can't go wrong with pizza/Italian-- and the fact that the staff is very accommodating of large groups. Yes-- you might have to wait a bit for your food-- especially in the summer when the Dreams Park kids are... More

Sal's Pizzeria is our favorite stop for delicious pizza when we're in Cooperstown. Don't be intimidated if there's a long line of customers. Definitely worth the wait, and the line moves quickly thanks to the 3 or 4 guys taking orders, making made-to-order pizzas and baking them in ovens lining the wall in this long, narrow space. Choose pizza by... More

Sal's is your typical Pizzeria with a large selection of subs (hoagies, torpedoes, what ever you call them) and great thin crust pizza. Their subs are loaded with whatever filling you order-try the meatball, great meatballs and lots of melted cheese. Their pizza is delicious, and your get a very large slice. Very friendly people and great service, and reasonable prices.

How can you go wrong with a pizza joint named Sal's. This is a classic NY Pizzeria that displays their product in large glass cases and on the glass case countertop. Their large pizza must be a least 20"-22" inches in diameter. Huge slices of pizza and subs. My wife and I split a large Egg Plant Parmigiana sub that... More
