During a 4 day visit to Corning we actually ate here twice because not only is it a great restaurant on Market Street but the drink and GF menu are fabulous. I have celiac and often eating out can limit me to a salad or veggies and the wait staff will look at you as if you're an alien when... More

My wife and I ate at The Cellar over the Independence Day Weekend. This meal was excellent. For Tapas we had the Artichoke Hearts, which were flavorful and tender, the Brussels and Walnuts, which we had based on a recommendation and which were awesome (normally I don't even like Brussels Sprouts), the Olives, which were delicious, and the Wood Plank... This is possibly the best restaurant in Corning, at least in the old town center. The menu is decidedly eclectic and mouthwatering. I think most people can find something they like. Beer list is short but good, wine list is longer but a little too expensive. The food we ordered was good, but the chef had not gone the extra... More

What we got this time around is what brings us back time and again; great food and good service. The Cellar has some amazing standard menu items and they rotate it some new items with regularity. They also have an extensive wine list and a pretty good craft beer listing, too. We shared tapas and it was fantastic. Pork belly... More

This interesting and delicious restaurant is right on the main street in Corning. The food is fusion and borrows from many different cuisines but doesn't get muddled. We had the coffee smoked salmon which for 8 dollars was a steal. It's a half order but you get more than enough to share. We also had the chaat nachos which were... More

As Corning residents, when my husband and I get the rare chance to go out for the evening there is no doubt where we're heading - always The Cellar! The atmosphere is hip yet comfortable, the food is absolutely the best, and the drink menu is fantastic. We've never been disappointed in our many years of frequenting The Cellar. If... More

My husband and I are recent vegetarians. My son and his gf eat meat. What a joy to find this place! DH and I ordered brussels sprouts, asparagus and Pea/asparagus ravioli. All were excellent; the ravioli was a huge surprise. We expected the usual marinara with a few veggies. Instead, it was in a creamy pesto covered with delicious peas.... More

Wonderful chef, great server Emmett made for a wonderful evening! Hate to leave, without trying all the myriad of culinary treats. We shared:beef golgoghi skewers, smoked chicken spring rolls, salmon rolls, 1/2 chicken waffles and 1/2 day boat scallops...wow terrific all of them and then we topped it all off with the molten chocolate lava cake with salty caramel icecream...a... The Cellar was the perfect place to end our day after a long visit in the Corning museum of Glass. The dining room is comfortable and relaxed, tables are not too close together and service is quick and cheerful. We ordered a bottle of wine (excellent) and a charcuterie appetizer (salami, pate, olives and bread) which was just delicious, the... More
