Was in local area and searched for a restaurant. Accidentally ran into diner and nothing but good to say. Owner was very open and service was great. Really busy which typically means food is good. Good overall experience.

We are here as a last minute choice when visiting the Jack o Lantern Blaze. The staff was courteous and the food was good. They offered good portions and a kid's menu. Since we were on a family adventure, we decided to have breakfast for dinner. My blueberry pancakes were good and very filling. The kid's portions were very generous... More

Our group of 6 (including a 7 and 5 year old) recently stopped on a busy Friday night. We were lucky to be seated right away. Service was very prompt. Menu has something for everyone, Greek specialties, blueberry pancakes and chicken fingers for the kids, plus much much more. Wine, beer and spirits also available. Based upon the crowd it's... We had a late lunch - early dinner - here. We each started with a different bowl of soup, each one tastier than the next! Then I had a salad (much more than sufficient for a meal), and the others had sandwiches, which were huge and good! Prices were very reasonable. We will eat there again if ever in the... More

My wife and I shared a pastrami Reuben. Very good. Our waitress brought a second slice of pickle and a second Cole slaw in the little paper cup. Very thoughtful. The restaurant has a significant negative: stairs, about 10 to get in. The parking for lunch was really tight... with a sign reminding people to park correctly (within the lines?)... More

I love a good tuna melt and the Croton Colonial Diner did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and the food was great.

If you are looking for a fast, easy and delicious meal, the Croton Colonial is the best bet. The menu selections are numerous and it would be impossible not to find something that you like at a reasonable price. Wait staff and management are both friendly and accommodating. Easy on/easy off from Route 9 north or south, Exit 129.

Visiting family from out of town - walk into the diner and my husband that grew up in Croton ran into 4 different people and/or families he knew. All the locals come to the Croton Diner and for good reason. Food is good, huge portions, and reasonably priced. I had the stuffed cabbage it was delicious. Can't go wrong at... More

The staff is super professional and the ownership is super nice. Food is great as well. My minor complaint is the loud music which makes it hard to talk to friends. And the multiple TV screens are also not needed....they are a visual distraction and without the TV volume why bother watching silent video?
