Had roast beef on kimmelweck as only a Buffalo roast beef can be enjoyed. Good beef with tasty gravy and crispy fries on the side. Followed up with a real custard vanilla cone. Best of a quick dinner on a week night.

I'm pretty picky about the quality of custard that I like...this place has amazing soft serve! Their sundaes are as good as you'll find anywhere. Even their whipped cream is a level above most. Their cinnamon ice cream is a favorite as well. And you...More

Tender juicy beef on weck is a must. Gravy or cheddar fries to go with. Yummy. Custard is so creamy. This is a must stop for us every trip home. Add your own topping to your roast beef sandwich. Other menu items like chicken sandwich...More
Very good food, decent prices, great service, and lots of food. This is a walk-up and order restaurant, rather than a sit-down and order restaurant. It is always clean and the staff is friendly. They are known for their Beef on Weck, but they have...More
I stopped for some frozen custard after dinner elsewhere (though I've eaten very good meals at other Anderson's before), and got a chocolate and vanilla cone. Excellent custard, nice atmosphere, all around great visit!
The roast beef sandwich on kimmelwich is great. Definitely try it if you have never had this type of roll. The Carl's choice is a good size for a hungry person.
Anderson's is famous for its roast beef on kimmelweck which is good, but not as good as Schwabel's or a few other places. The custard is good but not as good as Fran Ceils in Lackawanna. So, I guess it's good but not great!
