Visited with my son as we both wanted some muscles. Unfortunately the pub kitchen was shut, but the pizza and grill bar was open. So we grabbed some drinks and went to the nice little seated area which is separate from the pub and both had a pizza; which was very nice, the steak pizza had large slices of steak... More

Visited last night after TA recommendations and were not disappointed. Staff very friendly and when I asked for an 'off menu' item, this was catered for without any problem. Food was glorious and reasonably priced. Hubby had a 'delicious' burger and I had the mussels. The portion was so big I couldn't resist counting them. 101, yes 101, all beautifully... More

Visited with my husband and 2 children, nice friendly staff. My husband wasn't very hungry so had a mussels starter, which was really tasty. I had pie, chips and gravy, good choice of 5 or 6 pies, really nice!

Enjoyed meals here twice last week whilst on holiday. Sunday lunch was a tad disappointing as the beef was tough & chewy. I was offered an alternative but declined as my husband was almost finished. He had fish & said it was delicious. Our Jack Russells ate most of my beef of which was plentiful! Second visit was a lunchtime... More

The Smugglers Den is in a lovely location and is smartly turned out. My soup was lovely but the risotto I had was served Al Dente and unfortunately I prefer my rice fully cooked! They offered us a pudding on the house so that was something. My husband's meal was an average curry. Sorry, but the food is not as... More

We found this little gem hidden down some windy lanes from Perranporth area, but was definitely worth the trek. Friendly staff, great varied menu and efficient service. We had 3 courses, appetising and plentiful without being too gluttonous. Busy on a Friday night, and all diners were enjoying different options with the mussels and pies being a popular choice. Would... More

We were recommended this pub by a local and certainly weren't disappointed! The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, prices were reasonable and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time. The outside area was lovely and the atmosphere inside was relaxed and cosy! I wish this was closer... More

We were recommended this place by the wardens at the Treamble Valley campsite as their "local". We loved it and wish it was ours! Food was amazing ( we went twice in 6 days) staff were really friendly even though it was packed out ( Pie & Cider mini festival weekend) and prices very reasonable. The mussels are a must!!

Lovely, popular pub down a quiet country lane. Fantastic large outside terrace with views for sunny days. Both our meals were really nice, chicken for my husband and veggie lasagna for me both decent size and hot. Also dogs are allowed in the pub!

The atmosphere at this pub is excellent. We visited at lunch time when the weather was inclement. We had a warm and friendly welcome from the bar staff and the food and beer were first rate.
