Stopped with a friend Saturday evening for dinner. My friend was originally from Endicott, and recommended the Consol Family kitchen. When we arrived there was quite a crowd waiting to be seated. The others were seated quickly and we were soon led to our table. Our server was quite friendly, and was able to answer any questions about items on... More

The manicotti may be the best I've ever had, and that is comparing it to other wonderful Italian restaurants in the area. I do not understand however, why Yuengling beer, brewed a few hours away, is 50% more than Coors, brought from Colorado. No one else in the area charges that much for draft Yuengling, it is domestic, after all!

My family really enjoys this place and I usually go whenever I am back in town. They have good pizza and I have enjoyed all the things I have ordered.

Always a wait, but come early. Some old favorites are gone, but still have some basic great Italian specifies.

I love their pizza - thin crust pies - grilled pizza too - excellent cheese and sauce - the best outside of Rome, Italy (ok I am biased - but try it and see). My wife has food allergies (onion and milk), so they accommodate and she usually gets a seafood dish. They are changing up the food and wine... More

The food here is predicably good with a really friendly, long time staff. Always worth the visit. We had the grilled pizza, very interesting and tasty. We had the margarita.

Food is excellent Italian, but unfortunately they don't take reservations, so having patience is hit and miss. I like their eggplant rolatini and pasta dishes and pizza and fish and ... just about everything ! Wine selection ok, but not terrific. Pleasant atmosphere, but can get noisy.

I was a little worried to start. It took a while to get seated, and the place was full not that crowded. Salads were great. I got crumble blue with Italian--very filling. I also ordered the chicken cutlet with pancetta, artichokes and spinach over angel hair pasta--probably the best meal I have had in years. Pasta is made fresh. It... More

On 9/28 I went to Consols with 3 friends who were excited to eat here. We sat at a table where we waited over 15 minutes for our server Jessica to greet our table. I was confused as to why it took so long since the restaurant was not busy. She greeted us and took our drink order. Our drinks... More

I grew up in the area and always go to this restaurant for an amazing "hot pie" (pizza), beer, and great service. It opened in 1946 under the name "Duff's". I spent a lot of time in this restaurant in the late 60's/early 70's with my friend, who was Duff Consol's son. When Duff retired, the restaurant was closed but... More
