Dined at the bar on a 2+ pound steamed lobster. From the bar tender to the guests a rousing good time was had. Great food, well served in a fun, nautical atmosphere cannot be beat. Will be back.

Tonight we returned to Nautilus Cafe again...eat here once and you will be back too! The food is delicious! Tonight we had the special calamari appetizer which was very tasty and unlike the usual calamari. It was in a sweet sauce which gave it a wonderful taste. For dinner we had the Seafood Stuffed Lobster. It was perfection! The lobster... More
Decided to check out the Nautilus lunch specials, after a seal watch cruise, with friends. So glad we did. The price fixe menu looked interesting. Two of us ordered the Trout Encrusted w/Almonds, one had the Lemon Chicken and the other the Braised Short Ribs. We started the meal with salad or soup and ended with carrot cake. All were... More
Visited for the first time during Long Island Restaurant Week. It's very quaint inside so reservations are highly recommended. Everyone loved their food and we all took advantage of the special prefixe menu they offered. We started off with their cold seafood cocktail (not part of the restaurant week special) which came with half a lobster. Absolutely delicious! From the... More
My only complaint about the Nautilus Cafe is that it is too small. The food is consistently excellent, the service the same. One problem I encountered at this restaurant is the two for one lobster nite. The price wasn't the same that it normally is and my lobster was quite a bit smaller than my wife's. If it was supposed... More
This is a good quality but basic seafood restaurant. The fish is presented without any fanfare - sautéed scallops on a plate, sautéed sole on a plate. It you want a vegetable or starch it is an extra charge. (Try the creamed spinach which is very good and the portion is large enough to share). You do get a choice... More
The halibut and seared tuna were excellent, with sauces that complimented, but didn't overwhelm, the fish. Beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed. Caesar Salad was flavored nicely, with ample cheese and good croutons. Service attentive and not at all intrusive. We were there on a Sunday night, so it was quiet. Well made martinis and charming hostess. I've eaten here about... More
Wow, what a place to eat. I think they serve everything. The staff is very attentive and thoughtful knowing that you may be a tourist. The food is so good.
That Nautilus cafe is one of the better restaurants on the Nautical mile. The Seafood is always fresh and the steaks are also very good. The service is very consistent and we have never had an issue. The atmosphere is an older style nautical wood theme. It is clean and extremely consistent.
