Fresh and delicious menu-- such coziness should not be passed up if you're on the road especially. Vegan-friendly and the cold-brew coffee is GREAT.

they have good seating both inside and out. They made me breakfast even though it was past their time for doing that. They were very friendly and helpful. For me as a biker it was great since they also had a restroom which I needed after a long bike ride

Village Market is a gem for the town of Gardiner. The variety of what they offer is along with the atmosphere is worth exploring over and over again.

The Village Market offers very good food for eating in or taking out. They had a very interesting menu including whole Maine lobster to a gyro platter. You order and then find a seat. It was very crowded on the day we ate there and the kitchen got a little behind so we had to wait awhile. However the staff... More

Now you can sit in comfort at the enlarged eating area inside. I love their breakfast wraps (or sandwiches). Generous combinations to please anyones palate from the carnivore to the herbivore! If you're there for lunch, make it a point to try the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich made with sliced prime rib (au jus) and generous peppers, onions, and mushrooms.... More

Since John and Karen left the new restaurant is not quite as good. The always seem to be backed up, the gals behind the counter are not always pleasant and parking can be a problem. I do like their All natural chicken sandwich and their breakfast muffins are good. A little pricey though.

These folks make reasonable and fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, not greasy or pre-made. But I find the prices a little steep for what you get. Maybe I'm unrealistic, dreaming, but I want a larger sandwich, more fries, or a bit less nickle & diming. A fine stop if you're needing a quick something, but you pay for convenience.

I had enjoyed the food at the Village Market & Eatery the last time I was there, so I went back today with two friends. We came into the Market and the first thing I saw at the counter was a display of pot pies...they looked good so I asked the counter girl how they were. She said "delicious!" I... More

I frequent this deli often, sometimes having to circle & wait for a parking spot on our tiny Main St. I could easily continue on my way & stop in New Paltz for what I need, but I do like many items on the menu here & in the salad case. I have previously a few years ago, took the... More

Such a cute spot it will make you want to stop but food is very average to below average - salty and basically bad diner food. Not special. Also, coffee is self serve which was not stated until we asked for our coffees. In my opinion continue on to New Paltz and enjoy better food and service.
