Great spot to grab lunch or dinner, reopening on April 7th. Fresh fish righ off the dock. Kid friendly large dining space. Great space for a cool breeze on a hot day.
I went here with my boyfriend for a late lunch/early dinner. We were starving and we waited over 30 minutes for our food. We ordered takeout instead of dine in option. I had the stuffed flounder with crab, rice and string beans. My boyfriend had seas scallops and carrots. The food was average it was nothing special and the price was average... More
It's a nice place to stop after the whole day of having fun outside. We chose a table outside to have nice views of the boats, birds, bay, beach. A nice staff who answered our questions about some meals. Good choice of fresh fish. No one pushes us into leaving our table. It was OK to order only beer after... More
We stopped here as we were birding along the coast. Although there is a dining room, we sat in the bar. The view of the dunes, jetty and inlet are beautiful even on a cloudy day in January. Our server was prompt, knowledge and efficient. She guided us through the menu, food preparations and the specials. The hamburger was done... More
Oakland's Restaurant in Hampton Bays is a fabulous rendezvous for tourists and locals (like myself) alike. A wide variety of offerings include fresh from the sea specialties, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and salads. Dynamite views of Shinnecock Bay and Inlet provide the perfect backdrop for the perfect meal. Then, walk out the door, take off your shoes and enjoy a stroll... More

There is a lively bar brasserie room on the other side The service was nice The draft lager is light and cold The clam shoulder is very very thick but felt nicely filling in this winter day Steamed lobster: fresh firm meat with a very rich and palate easy melted butter... Haven't eaten here in many years, and now I wonder why. The view of the sunset was lovely, the interior charming and well maintained, and everything we ordered was delicious. The lamb slider appetizer was big enough to have been a meal, but the dinner that followed was so delicious I made sure to finish it. We will definitely return... More
Went for drinks and a snack, could have enjoyed more. The place feels like a restaurant with absentee owners, running on the backs of well-intentioned local employees. Menu and surroundings uninspired, the food Felt more prepared than original recipe. Wasn't up to our night out for drinks and appetizers, hopes and experience.
